After appointing a prime minister, the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Felix Tshisekedi Tshilombo, has once again signed a series of orders, read yesterday in the evening of Tuesday, May 21, 2019, the Congolese National Radio and Television. He has, succinctly, appointed a Chief for his military mission; he appointed a military adviser to his cabinet and appointed Monsignor Gerard Mulumba to the post of the head of the civil house. Lt Gen Celestin Mbala reappointed Congo’s army chief by the president Tshisekedi,he has held this position since July 2018.
Raised to the rank of general-major in July 2018 by Joseph Kabila, Yav Kabeya Jean-Claude was appointed Head of the military house of the current Head of State. This officer will be assisted by generals such as Augustin Mudiayi Mamba for operations and intelligence and Marcel Lukuikila Mitikuiza for administration and logistics. While at the post of military adviser to the President of the Republic, Tshisekedi appointed Brigadier General François Kabamba wa Kasanda. Until then, he was assistant chief of staff of the Head of State in charge of administration and logistics.
