The international Women's day

On the international Women's day, We don't only remember, but we acknowledge the contribution of our Mothers, Sisters, Aunties, Grandmothers,Nieces, Comrades, etc.

We salute them, in the liberation struggle of the oppressed majority.
We Salute them, for their contribution at moulding and looking after us.
Its without doubt, the women are the true soldiers, that are always on the front line 24 hours and 7 days a week.

The elite class has continued to shortchange the majority of women. Thus, women continue to receive crumbs and leftovers from their governments.
Autocratic regimes like the one in Uganda, Sudan, Rwanda, Colombia, Bahrain, etc, continue to unjustly lock up women for speaking out for the oppressed...ie. Mama Stella Nyanzi, the Rwigara family, Victoire Ingabire, Lydia Achan, Mary Naigaga, Aishah Faakhir, Zainab Eman, etc.

Without doubt, We continue to witness western Ngos that use the plight of women in the south, as a social laboratory, and a means to solicit funding from their taxpayers. Thus, the creation of jobs for the elite!
Also Multinational companies, continue to exploit women with mediocre wages and unsecured employment.

The land grabbing by criminal regimes amd their parasitic foreign investors, has led to mass displacements and dis-empowerment of women in the south.
The black woman continues to be despised and exploited by white supremacists and backward men.

When governments pathetically decide to use bodies of women to attract tourists perverts, then you start to understand , the women liberation is still not yet over.
On this day, we salute all the oppressed women around the world!
